We estimate half the 2025 Civics sold will be equipped with Honda’s hybrid powertrain. Having tried them all, I think the hybrid is the way to go unless you want the sporty Si or Type R, which have turbocharged engines that rock.
We should also mention that with a 48 MPG fuel economy rating, using cheap, unleaded fuel, of course, the Civic has a lower cost per mile of energy than EVs do in our Metro Boston test area.

So, you are a die-hard Honda shopper and owner, and you are going to buy a practical Honda in the Civic’s price range but you really want/need all-wheel drive.
